One of the biggest obstacles to any pilot license or rating is the cost. You know how it goes… you’ve saved hard to fund your flying, then the transmission goes, the roof starts to leak, the refrigerator goes kaput, and on it goes. Or maybe the cost seems so daunting, you think that you’ll never be able to afford it in the first place. While flying is an expensive activity, there’s no reason to let that get in the way of your dream!

Wayne and Plane has partnered with Pilot Finance, Inc. to provide financing to those that qualify. This is a great way to make your flying dream come true!

Applications are available from Wayne and Plane, or go to pilotfinance.com.  Approval usually takes no more than 24 hours. Once approved, I will sit down with you and together we will tailor a program that meets your training needs. Costs typically covered are aircraft rental and instruction fees, but training materials, pilot supplies, even headsets can be included.  Your pre-approved training program will then be submitted for final approval.

Once final approval is received, the funds dedicated to complete your private certificate or instrument rating will be available in your account. These funds are strictly for flight training and can’t be used for anything else, so life’s downers can’t get in the way of your flight training, at least!

Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) also offers pilot financing to members. Loans for the private
certificate and instrument rating, as well as commercial and instructors ratings are available, with amounts to $100,000.

The annuaopalogo2al membership is $59 and includes a subscription to AOPA Pilot or Flight Training magazine, access to the AOPA website, plus numerous other benefits tailored to pilots. AOPA is also one of the primary pilot advocacy groups and industry watchdogs that fights tirelessly against both government and big business for the rights of general aviation pilots and the flying community.
